Esther + Bump || Seattle Maternity Photographer

I photographed Esther a month ago with her family.  She was nice enough to let me photograph her again at one of my favorite locations~Camp Long Park.

She also let me fulfill one of my favorite things to do…dress people!  I have a degree in fashion design, and have always dreamed of being a stylist.  I love, love, love clothes, and believe that you don’t have to spend a lot of money when you are pregnant thanks to eBay and thrift stores.  Esther said she’s scored some great finds at H&M too.  LOVE that place for on trend items that won’t break the bank 🙂

I also have a belief that you don’t have to wear maternity clothes when you are pregnant.  With all the tunics out there, and low rise jeggings, it really does work to crossover your wardrobe!  I had a goal when I was pregnant to never wear any maternity clothes, and with the exception of a few tank tops to work out in, succeeded in just buying up a size, and buying things that had a lot of stretch to them.  I still wear a lot of the clothes that I wore when I was pregnant!  Esther was game for having a bunch of different outfits, which I LOVED!!

We started off just getting a few more of the bump.  I wanted to try and tie in a scarf that I thought we might use again when her little boy is born.

Then we headed over to the park.  Tights and boots can take you a long way when you are pregnant.  They are not only stylish, but comfy! The top Esther is wearing is from Zara, and is a high in the front low in the back top.  She just wears it backwards now~brilliant!  Love it with the yellow cashmere cardigan from Banana Republic!I may or may not have worn this outfit a few weeks ago ha ha.  The jeans are non maternity jeggings from Black Orchid that have a lot of stretch to them.   Super comfy!  The top is also non maternity, but a long tunic totally works with a bump!  I got the leather jacket at a thrift store for $25 🙂So cute!!Long tunic sweaters/sweater dresses are perfect too.  This one is 100% cashmere, so it’s soft, comfy, and stretches.  I just toss it in the dryer for  few seconds and it’s back to normal!Of course it helps that Esther is so gorgeous and happy!  She could wear anything and look good!Yes, this is what they mean by glowing 🙂Esther, thank you SO much for not only being game for doing this, but also letting Maya tag along 🙂  We both had lots of fun!!
