{"id":1375,"date":"2010-07-30T11:58:55","date_gmt":"2010-07-30T18:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/?p=1375"},"modified":"2010-07-30T12:03:57","modified_gmt":"2010-07-30T19:03:57","slug":"peanut-butter-cheesecake-mmmm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/peanut-butter-cheesecake-mmmm\/","title":{"rendered":"Peanut Butter Cheesecake, mmmm&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was Charlie&#8217;s birthday, and the boys always get to choose what kind of dessert they want.\u00a0 When we had gone out to dinner a few weeks ago, he had gotten cheesecake and loved it, so&#8230; Cheesecake it was.\u00a0 He is my fellow peanut butter lover (I have it everyday in some way, shape, or form!), so I suggested a peanut butter cheesecake~SOLD!\u00a0 I remembered my mom making one when I was little, and I was pretty sure she sent me the recipe at some point~she did!<\/p>\n<p>A few things that mark a GREAT recipe from my mom&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>1. It&#8217;s got her handwriting on it suggesting changes to the recipe<\/p>\n<p>2. The recipe has food stains on it\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>3. It&#8217;s from Bon Appetit <strong><em>1982! <\/em><\/strong>Love it!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"PBC 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/PBC-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"672\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The crust was a bit of a happy accident.\u00a0 It originally called for vanilla wafers, but you can see my mom scratched it out and put chocolate wafers.\u00a0 Well, I always follow the handwritten notes~they are tried and true!\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t find <em>just <\/em>chocolate wafers at the store, so I got the combo pack that showed chocolate and vanilla.\u00a0 I found out that they HID the strawberry flavored ones after I opened the package&#8230;
