scouting&#8230;where to go when it rains??"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have been insanely lucky with our gorgeous weather in Seattle lately, but&#8230;those times might be coming to an end.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude41\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been trying to think of places to do shoots when it&#8217;s raining.\u00a0 It seems as if it would be a little easier when it&#8217;s just a couple.\u00a0 However, I&#8217;ve been struggling with ideas for families&#8230; You can&#8217;t take a family with young children as easily into the library (and stay quiet), a bar, cafe, or under an underpass\/bridge.<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;I thought about our train and bus stations!\u00a0 I went down to check them out this afternoon, and they were even better than I had thought they would be!!\u00a0 They were doing a renovation to the train station, so there was a lot of construction walls and signs, but still&#8230;.BEAUTIFUL!!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"TB 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/TB-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"TB*\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/TB1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I asked Houston to come with me during his lunch break, so I could actually have a body in the frame vs just a wall.\u00a0 Thanks Huz.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 I LOVE The park\/eating area.\u00a0 Granted it wouldn&#8217;t work if was raining, but if there was a break, it&#8217;s really cool!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all \/><\/p>\n<p>I liked that the yellow railing matched my poncho, so I got in a shot \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"TB6\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/TB6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"672\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Union Station is just up the street, and I really wasn&#8217;t expecting as much from that location.\u00a0 Guess I should have googled it, because it was even better than the train station!!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"TB7\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/TB7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"672\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Are you kidding me??!!!!\u00a0 And there really wasn&#8217;t anyone there!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"TB8\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/TB8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" \/><\/p>\n<p>LOOOOOOVE the floor.\u00a0 I put these hex tiles in the two bathrooms of my last house, and the trim is so fun!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"TB10\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/TB10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And then there&#8217;s this cute little cafe!\u00a0 I swear, with every step I took, I got more excited!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"TB11\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/TB11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"672\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Green, green, and more green.\u00a0 I was in heaven&#8230;\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"TB13\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/TB13.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some of my other thoughts were~<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aquarium (may need permit for professional pics?)<\/li>\n<li>Pacific Science Center (permit needed?\u00a0 Also, might be too crowded depending on the day&#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>Fun little cafe\/ice cream parlor<\/li>\n<li>Bookstore<\/li>\n<li>Pike Place Market<\/li>\n<li>Parking Garage?<\/li>\n<li>Go on a scavenger hunt for cool doorways with awnings!<\/li>\n<li>Antique store\/mall (mainly for couples)<\/li>\n<li>Throw on some rain boots, grab some umbrellas, and just go for it!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So.\u00a0 Anybody have any good ideas for places to go when it&#8217;s
