{"id":3544,"date":"2011-04-11T10:16:45","date_gmt":"2011-04-11T17:16:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/?p=3544"},"modified":"2012-08-04T09:43:29","modified_gmt":"2012-08-04T16:43:29","slug":"katie-and-david-engagement-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.laurenkahanphotography.com\/blog\/katie-and-david-engagement-photography\/","title":{"rendered":"Katie and David | Engagement Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Katie and David got engaged last December, and contacted me about getting some engagement pictures taken.\u00a0 They had found me through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.planningsavvy.com\/index\">PlanningSavvy.com<\/a>, so another huge thank you to Rasa and Erika!<\/p>\n<p>They decided to do an extended session, which allowed for so much versatility!\u00a0 I\u2019d never met Katie and David, but before, during, and after, I kept thinking of the Elizabeth Barrett Browning poem~\u201dHow Do I <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Love<\/span> (like :)) Thee?\u201d\u00a0 Let me count the ways\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They had a bunch of ideas for locations that had meaning to them\u2026and as I read each one, I kept saying~I love that place!<\/li>\n<li>They brought <em>three <\/em>different outfits~SO HAPPY! ( I could have kissed both of them, but that would have been weird\/awkward \ud83d\ude42 )<\/li>\n<li>They were up for anything!\u00a0 Seriously, within 5 minutes of saying hello, we came upon a tractor.\u00a0 Should I ask?\u00a0 Of course!\u00a0 And they got on!<\/li>\n<li>They were all smiles, laughter, and love.\u00a0 Couldn\u2019t ask for anything more\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We started the Shilshole docks.\u00a0 David sailed growing up, and his family still does.\u00a0 It was the perfect backdrop\u2026It was really hard to pick favorites, but this is in the running!<img
