I feel so lucky to have taken some engagement pictures for Kathi and Dan last night.\u00a0 We had rescheduled once, and it was touch and go all day whether or not we would get poured on.\u00a0 We decided to go for it, and I am so glad we did!!\u00a0 We had so much fun, and the clouds made for some beautiful pictures!\u00a0 The absolutely smitten couple didn\u2019t hurt either\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42 .<\/p>\n

If the following story does not elicit an audible \u201cAAAAWE\u201d, then I don\u2019t know what will\u2026<\/p>\n

Kathi and Dan met in high school, but lost track of each other after graduating.\u00a0 They met up again 30+ years later (yes, they graduated when they were 10, can you believe it??), and fell in love.\u00a0 After he proposed, they went to their high school and carved their initials in a tree on the grounds~AAAAWE!!<\/em><\/p>\n

After hearing that story, I knew we HAD to go shoot there.\u00a0 So, we met up at Lindbergh High School<\/a>, and then headed over to Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kathi\u2019s daughter Teleya came along, so we got some family portraits in there too.\u00a0 That post will be coming shortly\u2026<\/p>\n

It was so great meeting you both, and I am SO bummed I will be out of town for your wedding in August!\u00a0 I know it will be a FUN!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Congratulations on your engagement!<\/p>\n
