I took part in the Northlake Wedding and Events Tour<\/a> on Sunday.\u00a0\u00a0 PlanningSavvy.com<\/a> and Priv\u00e9 Bartending &\u00a0Events\u00a0 <\/a>united to create the Northlake Wedding & Events Tour<\/a> because they saw a need to showcase the venues in the area and bring more business to this community.\u00a0 There were eight venues involved.\u00a0 Each was designed by a local event planner with themes and vendors helping make it a unique event for prospective brides, grooms, and party planners to get ideas and meet creative people.<\/p>\n

I was at the Lake Washington Rowing Club<\/a>, who\u2019s theme was Nautical Glam :).
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"Prive Events<\/a> not only helped plan the entire event, but they manage the Lake Washington Rowing Club<\/a> too.<\/strong>\"\"Nona, from Nona Salon<\/a>, was nice enough to say \u201cwould you like me to put some product in your hair?\u201d before the event started.\u00a0 Darn rain with straightened hair ha ha.\u00a0 Thank you!\"\"Grey Poupon?\u00a0 But, of course\u2026 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Jason, from\u00a0British Motor Coach\u00a0 <\/a>was next to me and I think we covered just about everything 80\u2019s during the down times.\u00a0\u00a0\"\"He was also nice enough to get a picture of me at my booth.\u00a0 \u201cYou\u2019re an angry puppy!\u201d\u00a0 Uh, what? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The girls from Flowers by K<\/a> did a great job on the flowers.\"\"I\u2019m not a big chocolate fan (I know, shocking!), but Yana from Theo Chocolates<\/a> was super sweet!\u00a0 How cute are those little boxes?\u00a0 Perfect favors!\"\"I managed to only have one cupcake, and let me tell you\u2026.DELISH!\u00a0 \"\"\"\"Fantazmal Cakes<\/a> not only did the yummy cupcakes, but they did this awesome cake too!\"\"Erin from It\u2019s all in the Details<\/a> was the mastermind event planner.\u00a0 She did a great job!\"\"\"\"\"\"Loved all the paper products by Nicole Mae Paper Design<\/a>.\"\"\"\"There were so many fun vintage touches added by Vintage Ambiance<\/a>.\u00a0 Loved all the different mirror centerpieces, and the fun antique bottles!\"\"\"\"\"\"Ooooh, and then there was the food from Foodz Catering<\/a>.\"\"Of course I had to try it so I could recommend it! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 The crab cakes and chicken apple sausages with fig were amazing!<\/p>\n

However, the caprese bar was FANTASTIC!\u00a0 Like, text your husband right after fantastic!\u00a0 Such a fun interactive idea!\u00a0 And did I mention, delicious?\"\"Shelby gave me suggestions on what combo to do.\u00a0 The arugula pesto with fig balsamic sprinkled with flavored salt (saffron?) was to die for.\u00a0 Makes my mouth water thinking back on it\u2026\"\"\"\"\"\"The guys from Wave Link Music<\/a> kept the music pumping \ud83d\ude42\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"What a beautiful venue to have your wedding\u2026\"\"<\/p>\n
