You might recognize Nick from the pictures I took of his adorable little newborn baby Ella Rose.  This time Nick contacted me about shooting some community marketing shots.  Nick is a broker and owner of the Northwest Group Real Estate, and I actually have had the pleasure of working with him in my prior life as a loan officer.  I dealt with a lot of real estate brokers, and was very impressed with how prompt and thorough Nick was.  However, I much prefer working with him in my new job  🙂

Nick recruited Shawn Filer last year to help create a boutique-styled Luxury division.  Shawn and Nick launched The Luxury Collection in February of 2010 and have been rewriting the book on Real Estate service, sales, and marketing ever since.

We couldn’t have gotten luckier with the weather!  It’s been rainy, windy, and all around miserable here in Seattle the last week, but the sun was shining yesterday!  We went around the Laurelhurst and Windermere area to get some marketing shots, and of course…I had to get some of them too!

First up, was the Laurelhurst Beach Club.  The Club was actually locked, but I saw an opening in the bushes and decided to go take some shots of the amazing view of the water and Mt. Rainier.  I scored when I came up on someone pruning the hedges.  When I asked if it was ok for me to come back there and take some pictures, he said “Sure…but would you rather I unlocked the club so you could go inside?”.  Um…YEAH!

We were then fortunate enough to visit a family friends’ home.  She has a beautiful house on the water.  Nick is a PROUD University of Washington alumni, so we had to get this shot!

Last, we went to the Windermere Park, which is a member only park in Windermere.  From the gates, it doesn’t look like much, but then….WOW.

We decided to climb up to the high dive and take some pictures.

Pretty sure, I exclaimed~ “DON’T STEP BACK!!”  I promise…nobody was hurt during the making of this post 🙂  If you look closely, you can see Mt. Rainier between them.
