Richmond Family…

I drove down to Salem this last weekend to take family pictures of some childhood friends.  I really couldn’t decide what I was more excited about.  Seeing them after….EIGHTEEN YEARS (yes, we graduated when we were 10~geniuses!!), or taking pictures of their adorable families.  That is one of the things I love about Facebook.  Reconnecting with friends, and getting to be parts of their lives again, if only virtually.  I’d never met either of their families before, but I totally felt like I knew them!  Houston drove down and met me, so we both got to meet everyone~yay!

How cool is it that I have pictures of Kate when we were about the same age as her kids??  Check us out!  🙂  I have some of us older, but that will be in the next post, since I found the trifecta with all of us!

Enough memory lane. Meet Kate and her amazing family….

This is Cole.  I knew RIGHT away I was going to love him, when he stopped in the 1st 5 minutes and said~”How about you take a picture of me here?”  Um…perfect!!!

Love this one.  Just might be my favorite…

This is Grace.  I knew before meeting her that I would love her from all the stories Kate shares on Facebook.  She is just as funny and adorable in person!!!

This one is also in the running for favorite…can’t decide!

This is what I love about family pictures with kids in grade school.  They are never boring!  Strike a pose  🙂

This one too!  Love Cole’s sweet face  🙂

We wanted to get some of Kate and Casey (broken record time~LOVE shooting married couples!).  The shots on the right are what Cole and Grace were doing behind me… So funny.

Casey had to head back to Portland, but Houston got these as he was leaving.  Does it get any sweeter than this???

Guessing this face gets her out of any kind of trouble she could possibly get into…

Ha ha ha.  Mine on the left, Houston’s on the right at the same time!

Awe…

Mine on the left, Houston’s on the right.  So funny how we always capture things differently.

And…I will end it with two of me and Kate.  Kind of bummed I didn’t bring my bunny costume and a birthday cake!

Thanks SO much for driving down and hanging out with us Sunday morning.  It was SO MUCH FUN, and I am so glad I finally got to meet your family Kate.  You are one lucky woman 🙂
